What is your first impressions of Friar Lawrence?

My first impression of Friar Lawrence was soft,gentle and friendly and he really wants to marry Juliet but Juliet really loves Romeo and Friar Lawrence asked Romeo about Rosaline so that Faier Lawrence can marry Juliet.
